About IT-Universe
The "IT-Universe" International Student's IT competition is positioned as a socially significant project aimed at enhancing professional excellence, promoting information technology (IT) and its effective application, and improving the ways society utilizes IT.
A key aspect of the project is the collaborative effort between business, education, and socially active IT communities to improve the quality of the training system for young IT professionals, as well as to support active and talented youth.
The result of the project is the creation of a permanent infrastructure that ensures:
- Updating training and educational programs for both IT professionals and students of other disciplines who actively use IT in their professional activities;
- Synchronizing the needs of business and the state with the capabilities of the educational system;
- Identifying and training young, talented specialists with advanced proficiency in IT;
- Generating ideas for utilizing new IT opportunities within enterprises.
Format and Organizers of the "IT-Universe"
Since 2017, IT-Universe has been held in an international championship format—consisting of several qualifying stages (online testing, submission of remote projects, online problem solving) and an international final, to which participants who demonstrated the best results are invited.
